Ayurvedic material related to ‘Shukragata vata’/ ‘Vajikarana’ was collected from major Ayurvedic texts with their commentaries like, Charaka samhita, Sushruta samhita, Ashtanga sangraha, Ashtanga hridaya, Bhaishajya ratnavali and Yogaratnakara. Materials pertaining to Yoga were collected from ‘Hatha yoga pradipika’ & ‘Asana, Pranayama, Mudra & Bandha’. Electronic databases ‘Google scholar search’ and ‘Google search’ were searched for relevant studies and reviews published/appeared from 2010 to December 2016. The key words used for search were, ‘Premature ejaculation & Ayurveda’. Abstracts and full text articles which are freely downloadable and in English language were only included.
The last technique that we will look at now could be very similar to the Meditation approach that is mentioned above, however this technique moves one step further again by introducing body or muscular control as well as mind control. The technique is known as Yoga. There are several food items you should avoid taking which include coffee, tea, alcohol, processed food, food containing excessive white sugar and white flour, and denatured foods.

Clinical efficacy. Clinical studies evaluating the efficacy of alprostadil have generally found that the intracavernous injections are more effective than the urethral suppository formulations. In a randomized, open-label, multicenter study involving 111 patients, 82.2% of intracavernous administrations resulted in successful intercourse, compared to 47.4% of urethral alprostadil suppository administrations (P<.0001).28 Similar results were found in a study that compared intracavernous injection to urethral suppository use in 66 patients with ED. Of alprostadil injections, 85% led to intercourse, compared to only 55% of suppository administrations (P<.05).27
